Our staff assembled an in-depth spread concerning LGBTQ+ topics at our school as a response to the passage of the Florida law dubbed "Don't Say Gay." I wrote a story diving into the topic of queer representation in media and how it has affected the lives of students both positively and negatively, examining the ways that the exposure referred to in the law impacted real-life students.
